If you will be having guests who are not enrolled in your Blackboard course joining your Blackboard Collaborate room, you will need to adjust the settings accordingly.
Under Course Tools in Course Management, click Blackboard Collaborate Ultra.
- Click on the Course Room Options circle.
- Select Edit settings from the menu.
- Make sure the Guest access box is checked.
- Choose an appropriate Guest role. Guest instructors will need the Presenter role. If guests also need to record the session, they will need the Moderator role. See more information on Managing Participants in a session.
- Copy the Guest link.
- Click Save.
- Provide the session guest URL and guest access instructions to your guests.
