  1. Turn Edit Mode On.
  2. Select the Tools link from the course menu, and select Journals from the list of tools.
  3. Click Create Journal on the action bar. <INSERT SCREENSHOT>

  4. Type a Name. and add any instructions for the journal. Optionally, add any attachments, links and multimedia.

  5. Select the desired options under Journal Availability, Journal Date and Time restrictions, Journal Settings and Grade Settings.
  6. Associate any rubrics with the Add Rubric button.
  7. Click Submit.
