The following images and instructions will guide you through the process of editing audio and video settings in Blackboard Collaborate.
Blackboard Collaborate is a video conferencing tool used by students and instructors. Depending on your Collaborate session's settings, you may be able to participate with your instructor and other students using chat, video, and/or audio tools.

- To edit your audio or video settings, click My Settings at the bottom of Collaborate window.

- The "My Settings" box will appear on the right side of the Collaborate window. Click on the "Audio and Video Settings" arrow to expand the audio and video options

- Speak to test Collaborate's default audio settings. If an audio bar does not appear, click the drop-down menu to choose another microphone option.

- Select another microphone option from the drop-down menu.

- Test the new option by speaking into the device. If the audio bar appears and moves when you speak, your device is working. If an audio bar does not appear, select another device from the drop-down menu until the bar appears.

- click No-I need help to be directed to a Blackboard support page or adjust your computer's microphone in your system sound preference settings.
