If you will be having guests who are not enrolled in your Blackboard courses course joining the your Blackboard Collaborate room, you will need to allow guest access. Note: if you are teaching multiple courses and want all students to have access to the same room, use your Instructor roomadjust the settings accordingly

  1. Under Course Tools in Course Management, click Blackboard Collaborate Ultra

  2. Click on the Course Room Options circle.

  3. Select Edit settings from the menu

  4. Make sure the Guest access box is checked

  5. If you will be composing your notification, copy the Public URL, and send it to your guests. Otherwise, enter guest emails and click Add

  6. Click Send Invitation.

  7. Provide the session URL (if you are sending it yourself) and /wiki/spaces/MAR/pages/14190560 to your guests.

  2. Choose an appropriate Guest role. Guest instructors will need the Presenter role. If guests also need to record the session, they will need the Moderator role. See more information on Managing Participants in a session
