Create an Item

An item can contain text, audio, movies, files, images, and mashups. Using the Content Editor, any text written is editable within Blackboard. 

Creating an Item from the Build Content menu:

To create an Item:

  1. With Edit Mode ON, click
  2. on
  3. the Build Content button.
  4. Image Removed

  6. A contextual menu will appear.
  7. Select Create
  8. Click the Item link
  9. Image Removed

  10. Click build item linkImage Added

  11. On the Create Item page, type
  12. Name
  13. a name for the file into the name textbox.

  16. Optionally, type instructions or a description in
  17. the Text box
