Adding Images to Wikis
The following instructions will guide you through the process of adding images to wikis. When selecting images to add to wikis, please keep in mind that copyright laws prohibit your use of images from webpages. However, images may be expressly permitted for open use. Visit our Best Practices: Sharing Images page to learn how you can search for images that are labeled for reuse.
- To add an image to a wiki, click the expand function in the upper right corner of the content editor.
(Click image to enlarge) - Once the content editor is expanded, click the image function.
(Click image to enlarge) - In the new window that opens, click Browse My Computer.
(Click image to enlarge) - Select the file you wish to insert into the content editor and then click Open.
(Click image to enlarge) - In the respective boxes, enter an image description and title.
(Click image to enlarge) - Click the Appearance tab.
(Click image to enlarge) - Enter the appropriate pixel dimensions in the Dimensions boxes.

(Click image to enlarge) When you are ready to submit your wiki page content, click Submit.
