Access room as a guest

Follow these instructions to access a Blackboard Collaborate session if you have been provided with a guest access URL. 

  1. Plug in your headset or turn on built in microphone and speakers.Try watching a YouTube video or listening to music from your computer to make sure audio is working. If you have trouble, try restarting your computer.
  2. Go to the guest access URL that was given to you. Note: Blackboard Collaborate Ultra works best in Google Chrome. 
  3. Enter your name as you would like it to appear in the session, and click Join Session. 
  4. In your Blackboard Collaborate session, click Audio Setup Wizard and follow the prompts to optimize your audio. 

  5. You are ready to participate!
