Access the Discussion Board section by clicking on Discussion Board under the Course Tools section of the course menu. This link will take you to a page listing all of the discussion boards in the course.
Click on the name of the discussion board you would like to grade. This will take you to the Discussion Board page. The discussion board at the top of the list is the class-wide discussion board.
Click on the Action Link next to the Forum you would like to grade to open a drop-down menu. Click on the Grade menu option.
If the Grade option does not appear, the forum is set up to be non-graded - see instructions on Setting Up a Graded Discussion.
 Click the Grade button in the column of the student you would like to grade.
On the new page that opens, you will be able to see and review all of the posts the student has made in the Forum on the left.
You can assign a grade in the box next to Grade in the upper right.
You can add feedback for the student in the Feedback To Learner box.
Once you have added a grade or feedback, click Submit to save the changes. The grade will be added to your Blackboard Learn Gradebook.
After submitting the grade, click the OK button to return to the list of students. You may also click the arrows beside the studentâs name to grade the next student.
On the Grade Discussion Forum Users page, you can click on the Grade button for another student and repeat the instructions in Step 5 to grade their submission.
