Share Content

If your instructor gives you permission to add content to a Collaborate session, you can learn how to add various types of content (share files, share applications, share whiteboard) by reviewing the info below.

Share Files
 

1. After you have joined the Collaborate room, click share content icon (third from the left) on the bottom Blackboard Collaborate Ultra menu. Click Share Files.

2. Click the + Add Files Button to select files from your computer.*

   *Optionally, drag and drop files directly into the Add Files Here box.
3. Click the file you wish to share and then click Open.

4. Click on the file you would like to share and then click Share Now.

5. Click on a particular slide to begin sharing content at the slide.

6. To scroll through the slides, use the arrows at the top of the page. Optionally, use the tools on the top left of the Collaborate page to annotate your images.

7. When you are ready to stop sharing your presentation, click Stop Sharing in the top right corner of the Collaborate window.

Share Blank Whiteboard

1. 
   After you have joined the Collaborate room, click share content icon (third from the left) on the bottom Blackboard Collaborate Ultra menu. Click Share Blank Whiteboard.

2. Click Share Whiteboard in the Share Content window.

3. You can edit your screen using the tools located on the left top corner.

Share Applications

1. The application will then appear in the Collaborate window. Whatever you do on the original application page will be shown in the Collaborate window.

2. When you are ready to end application sharing, click Stop Sharing in the top right corner of the Collaborate window.

3. Use the tools in the upper lefthand corner to write on the whiteboard.
