1. Under Course Tools in Course Management, click Blackboard Collaborate. 
   
2. Under either the Course or Instructor room, clickClick Edit Room.

3. Teleconference Options: select Use built-in. This will allow students with audio problems to connect via telephone. 
   
4. Under Room Attributes, switch All Permissions to ON. This will give students immediate access to audio, text chat and white board. You can disable any these permissions in the session. 
   
5. If you want students to record the session or load content, set All users join as moderators. Otherwise leave as All users join as participants. 
   
6. Click Save. 
   
7. If you will be having guests who are not enrolled in your Blackboard course joining the room, allow guests in the room.
