Edit room settings
Blackboard Collaborate room has settings that can be adjusted according to your course needs.
- Under Course Tools in Course Management, click Blackboard Collaborate.
- Click Edit Room.
- Teleconference Options: select Use built-in. This will allow students with audio problems to connect via telephone.
- Under Room Attributes, switch All Permissions to ON. This will give students immediate access to audio, text chat and white board. You can disable any these permissions in the session.
- If you want students to record the session or load content, set All users join as moderators. Otherwise leave as All users join as participants.
- Click Save.
- If you will be having guests who are not enrolled in your Blackboard course joining the room, allow guests in the room.
