Use Turnitin to detect potential plagiarism in student work.
- Create a new Turnitin assignment or edit an existing assignment.
- In Assignment options, set report generation speed to On due date. This gives Turnitin web crawlers maximum time to identify potentially plagiarized sources.
Note: Journal and newspaper articles less than eight weeks old may not be picked up in the originality report by Turnitin.
- Leave Students view originality reports as No, to keep the reports hidden. You can change this setting at any time.
- Provide students instructions for submitting Turnitin assignments.
