Grading Journal Entries

  1. Access the Journal Tool via the Tools page, or expand the Grade Center panel and select Needs Grading.
  2. Select the Journal's action link in the list of items to be graded, and select Grade All Users.
  3. Select Edit Grade from under the Journal Grade section.
  4. In the Current Grade Value box, type a grade. Optionally, type any feedback to the user, and add grading notes.
  5. Click Save Grade.

Note: When creating a Journal, make sure that you select the radio button next to "Grade: Points Possible" to enable grading.
