The Edit Mode
When logged into a Blackboard Learn course as an instructor, you can modify, add, and delete content when the Edit Mode is enabled.
To turn Edit Mode On:
The Edit Mode button is located at the upper right-hand corner of your screen.
When the Edit mode is turned on, you will see a green dot next to the word ON.
- Clicking the grey oval next to Edit mode is: will toggle it between OFF and On.
When Edit Mode is OFF:
When Edit Mode is off, a modified student view is shown, meaning that—for the most part—it shows what your course looks like to students. For example, even as an instructor, no hidden items will be visible with Edit Mode off. For a true student view, please see the instructions at The Student Preview
Please Note: In order to add, edit, or delete course materials again, you must toggle Edit Mode back to "ON".
