Blackboard Ally is a tool to check for and improve the accessibility of documents in Blackboard Learn courses. Ally will scan all documents and display an indicator that will let you know the level of document accessibility and steps you can take to improve accessibility. Note: students do not see these indicators.
When updating or creating new materials, review guidelines for document accessibility. Start with the most up to date software. UMass Amherst offers free Microsoft Office 365 products.
