This training does not automatically work with mobile devices–you need to set it up using the mobile app. Also, please know that it does not work as well through the mobile app as it does through a regular computer, so we do recommend using a desktop or laptop if you can.
Follow these instructions to set up your mobile access.
- Download the free Blackboard Mobile Learn App from the apple or google app store.
- Once you open it, it will ask you to search for your school. Type in UMass, and choose UMassOnline-Partners from the dropdown menu
- Log in using your email address and password and then click on the purple course title. Next click on the Welcome to your LHA Board Member Training message; this will open the list of modules.
- ***Please note*** The modules may not open from within the mobile app. If this happens, you will need to open them using your mobile device's browser, but launch them from the app. You will know this is the case if they don't open. On an iPad, choose the "Open in Safari" button at the bottom of the screen. You might be asked to log-in again--just use the same username and password.
- When the modules launch correctly, they look like this:
- Sometimes the modules might close unexpectedly and you'll receive an error message. If this happens, close it and re-launch the module. You should then get a choice to either continue or restart. Choose continue to begin where if left off.
When you complete the module, close it as directed on the last slide and you should then see the completed message confirming that it worked. If you do not see this message in green, the system has not recognized the completion and we recommend you try again from a desktop or laptop computer. If you continue to have problems, please contact support for help.
