Hide and Show Content Folder


You can hide content areas to prevent students from seeing them. This does not delete the content, so you can make it visible again at a later date or time.

To hide a content area:


  1. Navigate to the Content Folder or other item you would like to hide. Hover your mouse over the name of the item, then click on the Action Link (button with a chevron) that appears to the right of the item's name.

  2. Click Edit on the drop-down list to open the Edit page.

  3. Scroll down to the Standard Options. To hide the item from students, set "Permit Users to View this Content" to No. To un-hide an item, set this option to Yes.

If you are using Date and Time Restrictions we recommend leaving theĀ "Permit Users to View this Content" setting to Yes. If this setting is set to No, then the item will not become visible to students during the selected dates.
