Hide and Show Content Areas

Hide and Show Content Folder


You can hide content areas to prevent students from seeing them. This does not delete the content, so you can make it visible again at a later date and time.

To hide a content area:


  1. Navigate to the Content Folder or other item you would like to hide. Hover your mouse over the name of the item, then click on the Action Link (button with a chevron) that appears to the right of the item's name.

  2. Click Edit on the drop-down list to open the Edit page.

  3. Scroll down to the Standard Options. To hide the item from students, set Permit Users to View this Content to No. To un-hide an item, set this option to Yes.

  4. If you want to set a specific date and time that the content will become available, set Permit Users to View this Content to Yes. The Display After will automatically be selected, shown in the check box. 
    1. Click the calendar and clock icons to set the date and time.
